Description

One holds a tobacco pipe. On a table are a bottle of wine and two glasses. A man uses a quizzing glass to read a paper: the British Museum catalogue suggests he may be Dr Robert Bragge. The man on the extreme right resembles Dr Michael Lort (as portrayed in Grose's print The antiquarian mastiff)
