    Comparability Factors Adjusted Birth Rate Births 1,05 Deaths 0.82 . 18.39 Adjusted Death Rate 10.75 Comparability Factors Since 1954 the Registrar General has issued an ’’area comparability factor for each County District and for the County as a whole. The reason for this is to allow for the wcy in which the age and sex distribution of the local population differs fiom that for England and ViTales as a whole. Since 1957 the death rate area comparability factors have been adjusted to take into account the presence of residencial institutions in the area.
