Description

Publishers' and printers' details given in P.A.H. Brown's 'London publishers and printers' (1982) imply a date between 1848 and 1853; most likely dates are 1848 or 1849, as there was a cholera epidemic at the time. The 'powders' and 'pill' suggested as a cure include opium.
