The participants sit in a semi circle on comfortable chairs and discuss the lack of appropriate medical provision specifically targeted at children. The participants were; L. N. J. Kamp (Netherlands), Elizabeth M. Wann (Australia), Mauricio Knobel (Argentina), Serge Lebovici (France), Albert Solnitt (USA), Rudolf Ekstein (USA), Ronald MacKeith (England), Norman Laurie (USA), and E. F. Thebaud (West Africa). They talk about their motivation in choosing to work with children. MacKeith contributes to the discussion on two occasions (which are a little hard to follow as he speaks to the chair and isn't facing the camera) and this appears to relate to how poverty and starvation in particular contributes to poor mental health in children.
