    Conference. There was no conference of the Principal Medical Officers of the East African Colonies and Protectorates during the year. Registration of Medical Practitioners and Dentists. The Ordinance governing Registration came into force on July 1st, 1913, since when and up to December 31st, 1921, the following have been placed on the Register :— Registered Medical Practitioners ... ... ... 62 Dentists ... ... ... 1 Licensed iviedical Practitioners ... ... ... 44 The numbers actually on the Register on December 31st, 1921, were as follows :— Registered Medical Practitioners ... ... ... 42 Dentists ... ... ... 1 Licensed Medical Practitioners ... ... ... 20 Of the above 42 Registered Medical Practitioners, 9 belong to the Church Missionary Society and 1 to the Mill Hill Mission; the remainder are in Govern¬ ment service.
