De braver les saisons, serais tu seul capable? Courage ami Bourgouin, subjugnes les Français; il faudra qu'on t'imite (on je me donne au diable) le sceptre de la mode est brisé pour jamais. ... The lettering continues with four lines describing how this man is insensible to the severe cold of the winter, and swims calmly everyday in the frozen waters of the Seine near the Pont Neuf, much to the amazement of shivering spectators.
