Goupylius is the suppos- ed editor; in which it is surmised, that lie had noted the particulars, where- in t rassus had varied from the Greek Codex. This had excited attention so much, that in the same year another edition of Morel’s in Greek, e Bibliotheca Regia, came out, with Soranus de Utero. Goupylius prefixed a Greek Letter, ad Odonem Casti- lionaeum the Cardinal, acknowledging the use he had made of the Exemplars in the Royal Library; from the Capello Medico, and from others which lie had purchased. Frey tag, however, is of opinion, that the edition of 1554, was neither belonging to Goupylius, or even to Celsus Crassus, but to Gul. Morelio Titiano; and he farther sup- poses, that it might have been a joint work of Goupylius and Morel.—The second edition, of Junius Crassus, is a better Latin edition than his former of 1552.
