Beth Hopkins was artist-in-residence at Bethlem Gallery. The centre piece of the exhibition was an embroidered quilt, and much of her works use discarded objects found on the wards, and are expressed in a variety of mediums: sculpture, print, drawing and embroidery. 'This exhibition represents a collection of traces people have left behind them, whether in the archives, in the wards or on the ground. It is an effort to draw together an understanding of my own admission to hospital eleven years ago'.
