Segment 1 A young man leans against a wall saying, 'Heroin? I don't know what this fuss is all about'. He is seen again, now having begun to use Heroin, but claiming he can stop whenever he likes. He is shown again, looking much less healthy, again claiming that he has it 'under control'. The narrator says, 'Everyone thinks they can control Heroin until it starts to control them', with the caption 'Heroin screws you up'.
