Moreton, Lord Henry John to Francis Galton

Letters from Moreton to Galton, regarding Galton's paper on photographic records of pedigree stock. Moreton discusses methods of photographing livestock, the possibility of forming a committee to investigate, issues of pre-potency and inbreeding, and recommends farmers and livestock breeders who may be of assistance.

Enclosed are heredity tables for Moreton's cattle herd. A draft of one of Galton's replies is also included.
