Description

Letter by "professor" Thomas Timson of the International Phrenological and Psychological Institute, Leicester, to Mr. Willson, a phrenologist based in Manchester, describing the spread of phrenology in Leicester and contrasting this revival with what "the London Folk" have managed. Autograph, with printed letterhead listing the Institute's staff (including other members of the Timson family). Formerly held in the Western Manuscripts Department's Autograph Letters Sequence.
