Description
A composite photograph showing in the background an interior representing the Edinburgh surgeons' premises. On the walls are nineteen portrait paintings, more or less round, alluding to the 29 portraits of members of the College painted by Sir John Medina between about 1697 and 1708 and preserved in the College since their execution
