For we may venture to aflfert, that unlefs the practitioner, to a thorough knowlege of the druCture of the parts adds an intimate acquaintance with the operation of medicines, fo as to be able to adapt his remedies to the conditution of his patient, and to vary them accord- ing to the exigences of the cafe, he jnud be incapable of conducting it fuc- cefsfully.
