    88. That a proper part, either of the said journal or alphabet book, be allotted for an alphabetical list of Patients discharged for irregularity or wilful non-attendance ; and that all Patients so discharged be therein duly entered, or in a seperate book to be kept for that purpose by the House-Surgeon. 89. That he keep a list of the In and Out-Patients on the books, and produce the same to the Committee at the general visitations of Patients. 90. That he be never absent from the House above two hours at a time without leaving a proper person to take care of the Patients in his absence ; and that he do not absent himself from the Hospital for more than one night without leave from the Committee; and that he be never absent on any account without acquainting the Matron where he is to be found. 91. He shall make out and hang up in the Physicians and Surgeons rooms correct lists of all Out-Patients confined to their houses, who must reside within the Town of Brighton. 92. That he make an entry on every admission list of the name of the admitting Physician or Surgeon, or of the substitute they have ap¬ pointed. 93. He shall not prescribe for the In-Patients without the direction of a Physician or Surgeon, except in cases of emergency when they cannot be consulted ; and in every such case the medicine ordered shall be entered in the Physicians or Surgeons book. 94. He shall not entertain any party, either for pleasure or any other purpose, within the House. 95. He shall not suffer the Physicians or Surgeons books to be inspected by any one without their permission respectively. TABLE OF RULES FOR THE TREASURER. 96. The Treasurer shall, receive all monies belonging to the Hospital, and shall not make any payment without an order signed by the Chairman of the Committee. 97.
