Description

Recipe booklet with the following inscription on the front cover: 'Medicine Book. Belonging to my mother and given to me on my sister Cordelia's death. Some valuable insights - Lousia A. Miles Dixfield House, 1879.'

Comprises various medical recipes, all written in the same hand with a couple of loose sheets and some that have been added in the centre of the booklet one with the address 'Mrs S Grylls, Cardynham, Bodmin.'

1 volume Loosely bound. 17 x 21 cm. 26 folios (most of 24 and all of 25-26 blank), which include some smaller sheets tipped in; also 3 unnumbered loose leaves inside the volume.
