    Acidum Sulphuricum Aromaticnm. Sp. gr. 0-927 Prepared by digesting cinnamon 2 oz., ginger oz., ■with sulphuric acid 3 fl.oz., rectified spirit 2 pints. Action.—Tonic ; slightly astringent. Dose.—For an adult, iilx to nixxx. For a child a year old, ntj. JncoTnputibles.—Alkalis and their carbonates, some earths and earthy carbonates, the oxides of metals, solutions of the chloride of calcium, acetate of lead, baryta, &c. Acidum Sulpliuricum Dilutum. Composed of sulphuric acid 7 fl.oz., water a sufficiency to make it sp. gr. 1-094. Tnxij = mj strong acid. Action.—Tonic ; refrigerant; astringent. 2)ose.—For an adult, mx to mxx. For a child a year old, tnj. Jncom/patibles.—As above. Acidum Sulphurosum. SOj. Sp. gr. F04. Prepared by distilling together sulphuric acid and char- coal, the gas being dissolved in distilled water. Used diluted 1 part to 6 as a stimulant lotion ; also as a deoxidizing, disinfecting, and antiseptic agent. 2)ose.—For an adult, fSss. to f3j,;largely diluted Use- ful in some forma of obstinate sickness ; and diluted with an equal quantity of glycerine, for parasitic atfec- tions of the skin, &c. ACIDTJSE TANNICTM.—Fide Galla. ACIDUM TAETARICUM. Prepared from acid tartrate chalk, chloride of calcium, by means of sulphuric acid.
