Photograph of an illustration from an unidentified 14th century manuscript, held by the Brussels National Library, Belgium. The illustration depicts a patient being treated for a cataract by a doctor and assistants watching, with text in Latin underneath. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 9th October 1935 (PHO 5145).
