Description

Congenital stricture and other malformations of the oesophagus. Pharyngeal or oesophagal diverticula etc; laryngocele (for comparison). Other diseases of the oesophagus, including syphilis. Dysphagia and anaemia (Plummer-Vinson, or rather Paterson syndrome). Subject of heartburn, belching, 'oesophagal flatulence and vomiting', waterbrash, 'globus hystericus' (for comparison). The whole subject of dysphagia (for comparison). Glosso-pharyngeal neuralgia.
