    again have I seen eyes go from bad to worse, when treated in this somewhat perfunctory way. As an everyday treatment I prefer physostigmine (eserine), grs. 2 to the ounce, used two or three times a day. If matters do not speedily improve, then, in my personal experience, the best plan is to use the cautery to the affected parts without further delay.
