Includes records of births, marriages, deaths and epitaphs of Francis Galton's ancestors, including the Alloway, Button, Galton, Gifford, Perin and Watts families; Notes on the Barclay and Galton family; Manuscript notes by Erasmus Darwin on inland navigation, air bubbles, and brewing; and letters and papers, dating from 1695-1912, from various correspondents.
