Sir Michael Foster. Found in the Bowditch Library at Harvard by J. Pappenheim, it was probably taken at Putnam Camp , in the Adivendachi, when Foster was visiting Bowditch about the time of his visit to San Francisco to deliver the Jane Michael lecture on the history of physiology.
