    MEAT AND OTHER FOODS. The slaughter of animals has been carried out at two slaughterhouses in the town, which have functioned under the Ministry of Food. All animals, together with their carcases and offals, have been inspected, and full details relating to meat inspection at the slaughterhouses are given in the following tables. Periodical inspections have been made of ail places where food is prepared, and advice given regarding the measures necessary to protect food against infection and contamination.
