According to the preface there should be a second vol., Ostéologie. This was first published in 1706 and is included in most if not all of the later French eds. In this and the following ed. the two paragraphs on dissection, etc. (see note to 1694 ed.) are replaced by two chapters from Daniel Duncan's 'Explication nouvelle ... des actions animales' and the note referring to Poupart is omitted.
