Description
Collection of medical, cosmetic and other receipts: in Italian. On the 8th leaf is a pen-drawing of a nose, illustrating a charm to stop epistaxis: there are several other charms against diseases. On the 20th leaf the plague at Milan in 1632 is mentioned, but the work has been lettered on the spine: 'Ricettario. MS. Saec. XVI'.

1 volume 121 ll. (first 3 bl.). 16mo. 13 x 9 cm. Modern vellum binding. Some leaves are wanting at the end: water-stained throughout, and last leaf damaged and repaired.
