Six-part drama-documentary series about the founding fathers and formative experiences of modern medical science: Part 5: The Tuberculin Affair. In 1890 in Berlin, Robert Koch claims to have found a cure for tuberculosis, while Emil Behring believes he has discovered a vaccine against diphtheria. Both claims prove difficult to sustain.
