Advertiisng leaflet on pink paper. It is not stated where electricity comes into using the brush. It is advertised as being "warranted to cure nervous headache, bilious headache, neuralgia, prevent falling hair and baldness; cure dandruff and diseases of the scalp; promptly arrest premature greyness; make the hair grow long and glossy; immediately soothe the weary brain." It also advertises 'Dr. Scott's Electric Flesh Brush' "thoroughly and permanently charged withan "electric" force ... keeps the skin healthy, improves the complexion and imparts vigour and energy to the whole body. It is excellent in constipation and backaches peculiar to ladies ... rheumatism, sciatica, gout, nervous debility, lumbago, neuralgia, toothache, malarial lameness".
