    AN ACT For transferring University College London to THE University of London and for other MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH AND FOR AMENDING THE University of London Act 1898. [Royal Assent 11th July 1905.] WHEREAS the Council of University College London with the consent of the membep of the College have agreed with the University of London that the College and the property and trust hinds ot the College except such as belong to or are held in trust for ^orth London or University College Hospital and the school of advanced medical studies connected tlierewith and the boys’ school earned on by the College or any of them shall be transferred to the •f 1 y with the intent that the College may be continued under the dii-ect control of the University as a place of teaching and research in which wide academic culture may be secured by the Aarie y o he subjects taught in different faculties including pre- liminary and intermediate medical studies; And whereas it is expedient that this agreement should be carried mto effect aud that provision should be made for carrying on the or of the said hospital and school of advanced medical studies; And whereas it is e.xpedient that provision should be made for carrying on the work of the said boys’ school: And whereas it is expedient to make certain consequential aniend- Z!bN V f London Act 1898 and to remove certain doubts as to the constitution of committees of the Senate of the University and as to the power of the Senate to apply trust funds fu°nd8^-^^ Income thereof towards the costs of admmisteriug those '1- IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY That It may be enacted and be it enacted by the Kino-’s most excellent Maje^sty by and with the advice and consent of thl Lords aSd Parliament assLbled and b\ the authority of the same as follows 2.
