Lettering

Cupid in the island of Cyprus. The original picture by Guido Rheni from which this print is taken is in the collection of Lord Scarsdale. Size of the picture 2f 10i by 3f 10i in length. Carol. Fauccii sculp.

Creator/production credits

A composition attributed successively to Guido Reni (as in the lettering here), Elisabetta Sirani, Sisto Badalocchio and Orazio Riminaldi; engraved by Carlo Faucci in Florence by 1758, with lettering engraved by Boydell at the time of publication in 1763
