The first item on the programme is about a new wywtem of sign language at a school in Nicaragua. The second item features a new 'tilt test' to spot autism early. Studies have shown that babies who later developed autism don't keep their heads straight when their bodies are tilted - can this test be used to screen for the condition when babies are six months old? The third item is about Neptune, an undersea laboratory the size of Kansas which will soon be built off the Pacific coast of North America and aims to revolutionise our knowledge of the ocean floor.
