Creator/production credits

Jacometti worked in the Marches (Recanati, Loreto) mainly as a sculptor. Another drawing by him has been identified in Lille (B. Brejon de Lavergnée, Catalogue des dessins italiens, collections du Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, Paris 19997, pp. 111-112, no. 288, a study for a terracotta relief of the adoration of the shepherds), though any resemblance in drawing style between the Lille drawing and the present work is not obvious
