Description
Fund-raising programme in aid of rebuilding the Royal Free Hospital which had been badly damaged at its original site in the Gray's Inn Road, London, by a German bomb during an air raid on July 5th 1944. It includes a history of the hospital bySir Alan Garrett Anderson, including a section on women in medicine and a description of the damage during the war by Dr. May Thorne. Includes views in 1892 and 1939.
