The objects of the Society are to diffuse Sanitary Knowledge amongst all Classes, by organizing Lectures and Homely Talks in Drawing-rooms, School-rooms, at Mothers Meetings, and Working Men’s and Girls’ Clubs and Guilds, on subjects relating to First Aid to Injured, Home Nursing, Elementary Physiology, Domestic Hygiene, Food and Cookery, How to Make the Home Healthy and Happy, etc., and to circulate Tracts on these and kindred subjects. Membership is constituted by the payment of £i is. annually ; Life Membership by the single payment of ^io ios. Members of the Society are entitled to a certain number of ‘ Homely Talks 5 free of charge for the poor of their neighbourhood, also a Ticket of Admission to all Lectures given under its auspices, and a copy of all publications of the Society.
