Copy 1 Supplier/Donor: Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, 5 - 10 December 1898. Note: Bound with: Rabanus Maurus. De sermonum proprietate. 1467. Rubricated, capitals painted in red. Inscription on front endpaper recording the purchase of the two works by Wilhelm Czwerd in 1474 and their presentation, with several other books, to the Carthusian monastery at Fogelsanck (Cantave) in 1496. Book label of William Morris Kelmscott House. Note by Sydney Cockerell on flyleaf, 'The same watermark, a rose with 8 or 9 petals, occurs in both these books, which are stated to have been bought in 1474.'
