Clippings from local and national press and pharmaceutical journals concerning a range of subjects including new production facilities in Greenville, North Carolina, staff appointments, the opening of new offices, laboratories and factory buildings of Gayoso Wellcome (50% of which is owned by the Wellcome Foundation) in Alcala, near Madrid, an article from the 'Kentish Times' on Wellcome Foundation plans for decimalisation, subscription by the Wellcome Foundation to 'DRUGDOC' - a weekly service delivering magnetic tapes containing information on marketed drugs and chemical compounds, the 'Laboratory work at Wellcome' booklet - published by the Wellcome Foundation - detailing opportunities for school-leavers, sales and profits figures for the Wellcome Foundation (sales increased by 20% to 75.1 million for the year ending 31st August 1969, exports increased by 35%), and criticism by Sir Michael Perrin (Wellcome Foundation Chairman) of the 'misleading data' used in US Food and Drug Administration policies.
