Publication/Creation

[London] (14 Great St. Andrew Street, 7 Dials) : printed & sold by [J]. Pitts, [approximately 1802?]

Physical description

1 sheet : 1 illustration ; 37 cm

Notes

Broadside containing a list of 56 things that a Christian should want from Jesus Christ. Written in verse. A woodcut (?) at the top shows crippled people approaching a figure on a throne at the head of a table. A decorative border (of peacock feathers?) runs down both sides of the text.
J. Pitts (John) was based at 14 Great St. Andrew Street, Seven Dials, London from 1802 to 1819. As the 's's are still printed as 'f's, that would indicate it being closer to 1802.
