The third in an eight-part series in which a pioneering team attempt to counter certain medical conditions by using food as medicine. The team include dietitian Lucy Jones, GP Gio Miletto and consultant surgeon Shaw Somers. Over three months they will attempt to treat a number of condtions without prescribing a single drug. 24-year-old Lauren has polycistic ovary syndrome (PCOS), 7-year-old Harvey has crippling migraines. 25-year-old twin sisters Kristen and Maren are hoping to use diet to counter breast cancer and 44-year-old Chris wants to turn around his type 2 diabetes.
