The only other death in the nonage, that of a girl aged 17 years from Cerebral Tumour, was yet another reminder that growths are not confined to 'middle and old age. No other deaths occurred under age 45 years, save three males aged 23, 33 and 44 years as a result of motor vehicle accidents. .3 the two younger men both drove their cars into the back of stationary lorries, the recent efforts to provide lay-by’s1', to avoid such accidents, are welcome. . . It is worthy of note that of the 121 deaths in the District 95 (79/°) occurred after age 65 years, of which 55 (45/0 were those of persons over 75 years of age.
