The fastest growing cosmetic surgical procedure in the UK is vaginal, with girls as young as 14 seeking surgery to reduce their labias. Presented by Lisa Rogers, the programme aims to discover who undergoes this kind of surgery and why. 21-year-old Rosie has requested a labia reduction which is performed privately with only a local anaesthetic. The procedure is shown. Brighton artist Jamie McCartney is making a sculpture wall based on casts of women's vaginas which provides an overall view of how different women's anatomy can be. Rachel Foulks performs holistic vaginal therapy which has helped discourage many women from having surgery, one of her sessions is shown. Surgery to repair the hymen is also looked at as it is particularly common among Muslim women who need to prove their virginity on their wedding night. Lisa Rogers meets a young Muslim woman who is about to undergo this procedure - she says that to be found out to be not a virgin on her wedding night would be worse than death.
