Description

The history of bloodletting is presented in dramatised form with a journalist interviewing a haematologist; he offers to show the journalist a film strip. The journalist puffs on a pipe whilst watching the slides. Actuality of technicians working with samples in lab environment are shown with many close shots of glass and vacuum syringes; a woman has a blood sample taken; syringes are washed and sterilised.
