    A CASE IN WHICH ' 'NEURISMS OP THE TWO POPLITEAL ARTERIES A case in which aneurisms of the two popliteal arteries were cured by digital pressure. (Reported by Mr. C. E. WmG, dresser, and Mr. J. H. Ewaex.) tC. B—, aet. 32j a policeman, was admitted into Guy^s Hos- ttal on May 25th, 1867, under the care of Mr. Bryant, the case ivving been sent up to him by Mr. W. H. Wright, of Clapton [[uare. The patient, who was formerly a soldier, gave the fol- iwing history. He had always enjoyed good health, had lived ?iadily, and never had syphilis. In January last he got wet ite night whilst out on duty, and had subsequently what he llled rheumatic pains in his left knee-joint. He sought advice (d. had his knee painted with iodine, and the pain went away :a couple of days. With the exception of this attack he has wer had anything the matter with his knee. •About March 15th, 1867, lie was taking a prisoner to the nice station, when he was tripped up three times; he fell on u hands and knees, hut did not hurt himself, he only felt a WEEE CURED BY DIGITAL PRESSURE;
