Description

Papers pertaining to the history of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.

These include an article published in Occupational Therapy, February 1961 entitled "A World Journey" which is published correspondence between Mrs Glyn Owens and Miss Doris Sym; an account of Mrs Owens attendance at The Council Meeting held in Sydney, 1960 and associated tours in various countries. There is also a copy of a paper on the World Federation of Occupational Therapists 1952-1967 published in American Journal of Occupational Therapy, Volume XXI, No.5, Sep-Oct 1967, by Clare Spackman.

Also included is a collection of three books by Alicia Mendez entitled "A Chronicle of The World Federation of Occupational Therapists". These cover the first 30 years 1952-1982. The years between 1982 and 1992 are covered in a seperate publication written by Ruth Greenberg Harris.
