Description

Bible. O.T. Genesis 21.16. Hagar has decided that she cannot bear to watch Ishmael perish, but an angel appears and points to a well in the wilderness; Hagar gives Ishmael water from the vessel that now lies beside him. The angel promises that Ishmael will father a great nation (Genesis 21.18-19)
