Doctors to be: 20 years on. Part 3, The agony aunt's tale.

This series catches up with the trainee doctors who the BBC began to record 20 years ago when they were 18. This part focuses on Jane Gilbert who works now advising young people on body issues and health. When she was training to be a hospital doctor she was one of the most promising students but she found she couldn't cope with the hours and the emotional strain of becoming attached to her patients. After a spell working as a GP Jane decided to focus on her own family and discovered that working as an 'agony aunt' fulfilled her need to help people and advise on health issues without her work taking over her life.
