We try to redress this damage by propaganda at schools and there is some evidence that tne more intelligent take heed. FLUORIDATION OF WATER SUPPLIES- , ,,, This Public health measure, designed to improve the dental ii the natl0n> recommended by the Ministry of Health and cordially supported by the medical and dental professions was considered by the Council. ’ Council members were subjected to the heaviest barrage of propaganda against the measure which I have experienced in my twenty-five years in public health. The local newspaper, suiting its policy to the predominently ageing electorate, pursued a violently anti fluoride line and even attacked the Medical Officer of Health as a fanatic.
