Description
The setting is the main room of a house, probably in Greece. Nine women are around the fortune teller, who is using cards to predict something for a young woman. All of them are smiling. In the background, two men are sitting. One of them is looking at the scene. On a stool in the left foreground is the fortune-teller's knapsack, bell, and waterflask, indicating his itinerant status
