Description

Black and white photograph of the side view of a man, shown seated, suffering from osteitis deformans. One of a series of eight photographs of the case of osteitis deformans, originally described by Sir James Paget in: "On a form of chronic inflammation of the bones (osteitis deformans)." 'Medico-Chirurgical Transactions' vol LX (1877) pp37-64. Photograph presented to the Museum by Archibald Hamilton, MD of Windermere.
