During the last six years (1953-1958) there have been 753 de;is from cancer in the County, 146 of them being due to malignant dis(^ of the lung or bronchus, or 19%. There were 22 deaths in females from carcinoma of the breast in l$j which is exactly double the number in 1957, and 16 deaths from maligrT disease of the stomach, compared with 24 in 1957.
