    SLAUGHTERHOUSES The paragraph under this heading in the Annual Report for the year, 1958 applies in every particular to the purposes of this report since the position in regard to slaughtering facilities is unchanged. The six privately owned slaughter houses were still in use. Slaughtering takes place regularly on fixod days including Sundays. The Butchers have complied in giving notice as required by the Public Health (Meat) Regulations, 1924 in connection with any emergency or when slaughtering takes place on other than the fixed days.
