Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Includes: The Brighton Turkish Bath Company Limited (shares certificate : 5 April 1869), Foots' Hot Air Vapor Bath Cabinet (J. Foot, 171 New Bond Street, London : 1901), a vapour bath at Buxton Hospital (postcard : photograph : 1900s?), the Invalids' Walk in Bournemouth, Apsley House in Slough, Dr. Wiedeburg's sanatorium in Bad Blankenburg, the Post Office Sanatorium Society (for relief from tuberculosis), 4 poster stamps for sanatoria (Finkenmühle in Thürwald and Kindersanatorium Maison Blanche, Leubringen-Evilard, ca. 1910), a series of 48 perforated stamps (possibly from Holland in the 1920s) showing different sanatoria with the tuberculosis symbol on them, the Century Thermal Bath Cabinet, Merano's radioactive waters, Droitwich Spa, the Hydro Centre in Westbury, Dorset, Balsan Hydrotherapy, Aquatherapy Limited, Établissement Hydrothérapique Orthomorphique, Paris, colonic hydrotherapy, Sárvári thermal crystal, Shitari intelligent hydrotherapeutic system, saunas and steam rooms, Swedish National Sanatorium (Denver, Colorado - Christmas seal, 1952), the 'Quaker' turkish or vapour bath cabinet (1902), The Imperial Hotel, Russell Square, London (turkish baths : 1910s?), Sauna Ltd.'s finnish baths and massage (Abingdon Road, Kensington, ca. 1940?).
