Description

Black and white photograph of a man who had a solid tumour of the left lobe of the thyroid gland. The growth was probably a cystic adenoma. The anterior jugular vein, as is commonly the case, is seen to be greatly distended. Case of Mr K seen at Llanelly, Glamorganshire in April 1886.
